Based at the Orston Recreation Ground and Whatton and Aslockton Playing Field Aslockton Cranmers support football ranging from under 7s to under 15s.

Aslockton Friendship Group
Aslockton Friendship Group meet alternate Wednesdays at TheThomas Cranmer Centre, Aslockton from 2pm till 3.45pm. Sessions are £2 for members £2.50 non-members and include tea/coffee and biscuits. Sessions can include:- guest speakers, quizzes, bingo, coach trips etc. For more details contact

Aslockton Tennis Club
Aslockton Tennis Club welcomes new members. We have 2 all weather recently re-painted floodlit courts. Access is via The Cranmer Arms pub garden (very handy for refreshments after playing!) Set in a very peaceful, private and rural location.
We hope to have new coach in place by the spring.

Cranmer Local History Group
The Cranmer Local History Group was formed in 2001 to research the history of Aslockton and Whatton-in-the-Vale.
* Arranges talks on local and general history topics;
* Maintains a web site;
* Publishes on an ad-hoc basis the "Local History Digest"
Meetings are the first Tuesday in each month at 7.45pm and are usually held at The Thomas Cranmer Centre, Main Street, Aslockton, Nottinghamshire NG13 9AL

Small, friendly ladies group, meeting once a month at The Jubilee Hall, Whatton. Varied programme to include talks, outings, quizzes etc and most importantly tea and cake.
Meetings held on Monday afternoon (see calendar for dates)
2pm--4pm unless otherwise stated.
Annual subs. £15 plus £1 per meeting to include a raffle.
Visitors more than welcome £3 per meeting.
